East London Independents: We discuss all things East London with INTUNE

INTUNE is a Shoreditch based, specialist drinks company that produces a unique range of all-natural fruit and botanical drinks infused with CBD. We caught up with INTUNE’s Emily Hinckley to find out a bit more about life at INTUNE and the influences of East London.

Tell us how INTUNE came about and how did it come to be in East London?

INTUNE came to life after our founder Hannah (Glasson) discovered CBD whilst having treatment for breast cancer. She found it helped her to feel present, focused and highly productive.  So she brought together a group of taste experts to bring CBD to the world in great tasting drinks to help more people to find their focus.

We decided to open up our office in Shoreditch for a few reasons:

1. Our office is super cute and bright yellow, a hidden mews off Shoreditch high street.

2. It’s the hub of art, music, coffee and food so it really is a perfect spot for out drinks brand to slot right in.

3. Community! There is such a thriving community in Shoreditch, buzzing, eccentric and inspiring.

We love the fresh design and colours of INTUNE, which person or place would you take most interior design inspiration from?

Mama Shelter is a dreamland, everything from the crockery to the seating to the karaoke room downstairs!

We also LOVE Hackney Dave, Just Be Nice!

What was the last thing you bought for your home and why?

An Earl of East candle to soak up the scent and relax; Greenhouse is a fave. Then we also bought the Strand scent for our office - we need those hygge vibes during these raining grey days.

What item would you rescue from your home if there was a fire?

My cat, oh no, my ercol stool, or my Golden Goose trainers…

How would you spend a sunny autumn weekend in East London, what would you do and where would go

Victoria Park, a cycle through the park along the canal to Pavilion café, have a large coffee and one of their delicious soups to keep warm with a side of freshly baked bread.

What is East London’s best kept secret?

Rochelle Canteen enclosed in a walled garden.

And finally, where can we find INTUNE

East London stockists include  - Grow music venue Hackney, Oat Coffee in Brick lane and Shoreditch, Origin, Wacka Espresso, Kybelle, Village Underground in Shoreditch, Milfields, Chats Organic and Eat17 in Clapton, Bromley Deli & Café, Perky Blenders and Marmelo in Leyton.
